Objectives |

To enable delegates to:
Promote safety wherever employed working at height.
Reduce major injuries and accidents from working at heights.
Ensure compliance with all well-established safety procedures and all current relevant legislation.

Course Content |
|
Access and Loading Places
Ladders
Landing Places
Openings, Corners, Breaks, Edges and Joisting.
Roof Work (Flat roofs/Sloping roofs/Steep roofs etc.)
Fragile Roofing Materials
Work over Water
Safety Nets, Belts and Harnesses.
Selection of Equipment
Mobile Elevating Work Platforms

Training Method |
|
Highly participative with demonstrations, highlighted by the use of PowerPoint Presentation and Videos.
|

Safety Equipment |
|
Although not always required, all delegates should have available & bring with them the following safety equipment.
Safety shoes / boots
Fluorescent Waistcoat/Jacket
Gloves
Hardhat

Onsite Requirements |
|
Training can either be carried out either in UTN’s Training Centre or on a customers premises, where a room large enough for theory session with electrical supply for the use of Television, Video, Laptop & Projector.

|
As little as one delegate on open courses. alternatively, in-company courses can be arranged for a minimum of 8 and accommodate up to 12
