Objectives

 Each delegate will have an understanding and knowledge of what is required of them with reference to Health and Safety while working on a construction site

Who For

Any persons such as ground workers, labourers etc who are required to work on construction sites

 Health and Safety Legislation
 Accident prevention and control
 Personal protection
 Control of Noise
 Manual Handling
 Fire Legislation
 Construction Regulations 1961
 Safe use of vehicles

Training Method

Highly participative classroom based, highlighted by the use of PowerPoint presentation, Videos and Handouts, incorporating a written test paper.

Onsite Requirements

 Training can be carried out either in UTN Training Centre or on customer’s premises.
 Room large enough with electrical supply for use of Television, Projector and Laptop.
