Scaffolding is one of the most dangerous areas on any site. Are you trained to avoid accidents and injury?
UTN Training are Yorkshires only CITB approved Scaffold Training Centre delivering courses for delegates to achieve their CISRS Card.
Scaffolding Basic Part 1, Scaffolding Basic Part 2 and Advanced Scaffolding Training are regularly programmed and delivered at the Wakefield Centre.
Advanced Scaffold Inspection (2 days)
Scaffold Training to give delegates the knowledge to enable them to understand how to inspect more advanced scaffolding structures in accordance with statutory regulations and codes of practice.Scaffolds covered on this course

Basic Scaffold Inspection (2 days)
By the end of the course delegates will be able to carry out the requirements of the Work at Height Regulations 2005 for inspection of tube & fitting scaffolding working platforms including an overview of system scaffold.Scaffolds covered on this course

CISRS Advanced Scaffold Inspection
This training is intended for persons responsible for inspecting complex scaffolds, holding a CISRS Basic Inspection Card or a CISRS Scaffolder card and who are required to complete reports in accordance with Work at Height Regulations 2005.
CISRS Advanced Scaffolding Training
Course for scaffolders who have had a minimum of 1 years on-site experience as a basic scaffolder after successfully receiving their Basic Scaffolder Card.On completion of the course, delegates will have:-
- A working knowledge of methods of erecting and dismantling highly complex designed scaffolds.
CISRS Basic Scaffold Inspection
This course is intended for persons responsible for inspecting and checking scaffolds for safe use and for signing certificates and registers in accordance with statutory regulations.
The overall aim is to develop in trainees an understanding of scaffold components, forms of construction and inspection procedures of basic access scaffolds and to comply with current legislation and Codes of Practice.
The course will give trainees an understanding of:

- Means of Access

CISRS Basic Scaffolder Part 1
Training course for candidates who have gained a minimum of 6 months experience within the scaffolding industry.On completion of the course delegates will be able to:
- Have an understanding of the statutory regulations
- Have the knowledge and skill to be able to safely erect, as a member of a team, the various scaffold structures listed in the course content
- Work towards gaining a CISRS trainee card and an NVQ Level 2
CISRS Basic Scaffolder Part 2
Course for trainee scaffolders who have completed a Basic Part 1 course with at least six months on site experience.On completion of the course delegates will be able to:
- Have an understanding of the statutory regulations
- Have the knowledge and skill to be able to safely erect, as a member of a team, the various scaffold structures listed in the course content.
- Working towards gaining a CISRS card and an NVQ Level 2.
NVQ Level 2 Practical Assessment
This course is for candidates who have attended the Basic Part 1 and 2 courses and have acquired the necessary level of practical experience.NVQ Level 3 Practical Assessment (2 days)
Course for candidates who have attended the Advanced Training course and have acquired the necessary level of practical experience.PASMA Mobile Aluminium Access Towers
This course will enable delegates to:
- Understand the legislation governing mobile alloy towers
- Understand the need for safe erection and dismantling
- Inspect alloy tower components
- Erect & dismantle an alloy tower to the manufacturers guidelines / handbook
Safe Working at Heights Awareness
Course for all persons involved in working at heights including managers, supervisors & operativesObjectives
To enable delegates to:- Promote safety wherever employed working at height.
- Reduce major injuries and accidents from working at heights.
- Ensure compliance with all well-established safety procedures and all current relevant legislation.
