CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme - SMSTS
The SMSTS (Site Managment Safety Training Scheme) is a five day course delivered as day release over five weeks, this industry recognised course will provide companies who need to meet the ever increasing demand for evidence of health and safety compliance with all the relevant knowledge to meet today's legislative demands.
The SMSTS course is appropriate for everyone involved in line management, including charge hands, foremen, supervisors, site managers, project managers, as well as proprietors of smaller companies.
CITB Site Managements Safety Training Scheme (Refresher)
This course aims to bring health & safety knowledge up to date, as well as giving a thorough overview of the legislative changes and their impacts in the workplace. The course includes a wide range of topics, many building on the previous five-day course programme as well as introducing new subjects.
CITB Site Safety for Shopfitters & Interior Contractors
This CITB accredited course is aimed at site managers, supervisors, foremen and those who are or are about to be responsible for overseeing site operations involving groups of staff and workforce within the shopfitting and interior contracting industry.CITB Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme - SSSTS
This course is for first line managers - those who have to, or are about to, acquire supervisory responsibilities.
It provides an introduction to health and safety, welfare and environmental issues for those requiring an understanding of their legal responsibilities relevant to their work activities in safety managing a construction site.
Former MCG members are commited to improving the standard of site supervision. To this end companies will require all supervisors working on their sites to have recieved the appropriate training.
Holders of the CSCS gold card are required to have undertaken a one day orientation course. All others will be required to have attended a 2 day Site Safety Plus Supervisors course.
