Urine Drug Testing

Urine testing is carried out by taking a sample of an individuals urine.  This is a very quick and easy way of finding out if an individual has taken any drugs within the past 8 days with exemption to the 4 hours prior to the test taking place (Cannabis can be detected in the system for upto 30 days).

Urine testing is carried out by taking a sample of an individuals urine.  This is a very quick and easy way of finding out if an individual has taken any drugs within the past 8 days with exemption to the 4 hours prior to the test taking place (Cannabis can be detected in the system for upto 30 days).

Testing

The drug testing equipment test for the 6 main drugs:
  • Benzodiazepines
  • Cocaine
  • Methamphetamine
  • Opiates
  • Cannabis
  • Amphetamine

This course would not be run on open dates throughout the year it would be run on clients request for a block of their employees.  The course could be booked separately or could be added onto a block booking of another course.  The course can be tailor made to suite the companies timetable, Saturday's are also an option for companies that do not wish to take employees out of works time.  UTN can carry out the drugs testing on clients premises aswell as at our centre in Wakefield.  On the basis of testing a group of 20 delegates, the full testing and results process takes upto 2 and a half hours.  Each individual's testing and results takes around 20 minutes.

Results

The results of the test only take 10 minutes to show so it is a very quick and simple process.

The equipment used to carry out the test will show if the individual has passed or failed.  If the employer then wants to know what substance the individual had taken then it would be sent off to the laboratory where further tests would be carried out in order to define the substance that caused the impairment.

Certification

During the testing process 3 identical forms will be filled out and signed by both the donor and collector stating the donors details and the outcome of the test.  One of the forms is kept by UTN for our records and the two remaining forms are given to the employer for them to keep one and give the individuals one.

Note

The minimum number of delegates for this course is 10, if just booking this course alone.
If another one of our courses has been booked then this service can be added for each individual person.
