How to safely assemble, use, dismantle and relocate a standard configuration of a mobile access tower with a cantilever, taking into account the principles of counterbalance calculations for the use of kentledge in cantilever applicationsWho should Attend

Aimed at personnel who will be responsible for the assembly, dismantling, alteration, moving and inspecting of mobile access towers with cantilevers

Course Content
Legislation, Regulations and Guidance affecting working at height with access towers; PASMA Code of Practice; Product Standards EN 1004:2004 and BS1139 Part 6:2014; assembling, altering and dismantling towers incorporating current best practice for fall protection; inspection of completed mobile access towers with cantilevers and completion of Tower Inspection Records; hazards affecting the use of towers with a cantilever

Course entry criteria:
  • Applicants should be at least 16 years old and physically fit
  • It is desirable (but not mandatory) that applicants are literate
  • You must hold a current PASMA ‘Towers for Users’ PhotoCard and have a good working knowledge of working at height
