Overview:
This 5 day CITB SMSTS Course Online is designed for Site Managers, Agents and persons who are, or are about to be, responsible for planning, organising, monitoring, controlling and administering groups of staff and workforce.
This course covers all relevant legislation and other aspects which affect safe working in the building, construction and civil engineering industries. It highlights the need for risk assessment in the workplace, the implementation of the necessary control measures and adequate communication to sustain a Health & Safety culture among the workforce.
This CITB SMSTS Online Course is endorsed by Build UK as the standard training for all construction managers.
Who Should Attend
The course aims to help Site Managers, Agents and Supervisors to:
Manage Health & Safety on-site in accordance with current legal provisions and within the context of their management or supervisory role
Develop an understanding of responsibilities and accountability for site health, safety and welfare
Recognise a safe site is efficient, economical and productive
Candidates under the age of 18 must provide written consent from a parent or guardian to attend the course. Please contact us if you require a parental consent form to complete prior to the course commencing.

On successful completion of the course the delegates are awarded the Construction Industry Training Board (Site Safety Plus) Certificate in PDF format. This will be sent electronically to the course booker.
Additional Information
It is mandatory that you attend all 5 days of this remote course.
You will need access to a Laptop or PC computer with a webcam, microphone and speaker; some tablets can run Microsoft Teams so please check your hardware prior to booking your course.
Course publications will be provided electronically prior to the course commencing.
Photographic ID is required at course commencement (Passport, Photo card Driving License or CSCS photo Card)
At the end of this virtual SMSTS course delegates are required to sit an exam consisting of 25 questions, The exam will be delivered via Microsoft Forms (no special software is required). These will be completed in groups of 6 candidates per exam sitting.
