IPAF ePAL App

During the pandemic, as the contactless services and paperless transactions became a necessity, IPAF, for the safety of their customers, has launched the ePAL App. ePAL provides a complete digital experience to the existing and future platform operative to access their accrued licenses and other operator focused features.

ePAL IPAF’s mobile app, has been available from 1st June 2021.

Benefits of ePAL

  • Free App: ePAL is a completely free to download App for both iOS and Android devices.

  • ePAL handbook: ePAL is also a digital handbook for the operatives which contain on-the-go, latest best practice advice and safety guides.

  • Saves you money: You no longer need to pay extra for the printed licenses and courier charges on the completion of your IPAF certifications.

  • Never misplace your PAL card: With ePAL, there is no fear of losing your PAL Card as all your licenses and certifications are recorded within the App. The loss of a PAL Card can cost up to £25.00 - £35.00, so this could potentially save you money from lost cards!

  • Digital log keeping: ePAL replaces the paper logbook with a 21st Century digital logbook, which helps you record your operating experience and gives you an overview of the time spent operating multiple machines

  • Ease of accessibility: At the touch of a button, you can download your ePAL card to your phone ahead of time, giving you 24/7 use of your card – handy for those sites where there is no internet access.

  • Employer record keeping: ePAL allows the card holder to share their cards/certificates with their employer or anyone else that needs to see or retain a copy.

  • Complete peace of mind: ePAL is convenient both for operators and their employers – licences, qualifications and practical experience are easily shared from the operator’s phone, giving peace‐of‐mind for everyone, especially when it comes to security and safety.

  • Reporting accidents: With ePAL, you can now report a powered access accident or a near miss.
