The legionnaires training course online course explains the background to Legionella and Legionnaires Disease, as well as the risks associated with water systems and how these can be prevented or controlled. This course is primarily aimed at building and facilities managers and maintenance professionals that have nominated responsibilities for water systems.

Lack of training and awareness of Legionella have been shown to be factors in many outbreaks of Legionella. Having adequate training and carrying out appropriate checks can ensure water system safety. The course is approved by RoSPA giving you peace of mind and delegates increased confidence that the content is accurate and relevant.

 

E-Learning Course Objectives:

  • You will learn how best to minimise and prevent Legionnaires disease by identifying environmental causes of growth for the bacteria

  • 6 x modules in total covering risk areas and legislation

  • It is delivered by professional safety practitioners

  • The course is 100% online so no need to attend a classroom

 

Course Duration:

1 hour 30 minutes

 

Assessment:

The online assessment for the Basic Legionella and Legionnaires Disease management consists of multiple-choice questions and will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. To be successful, you must achieve a 70% or above pass mark to obtain the certificate.

 

Results:

Delegates who successfully complete the online and practical assessments at the end of the course are awarded a Basic Legionella and Legionnaires Disease management certificate.
