Duration: 1 Day

Overview: This is a one-day course which will cover the role and responsibilities of a temporary works supervisor, and is designed to provide training for anyone who is involved in the temporary works process.

Who Should Attend

Anyone who is involved in the temporary works process is welcome to apply, and the only things you need to bring to the course are a valid form of identification (photocopy of passport or driving license), a drink, and a clear schedule – the course lasts 7.5 hours after all!

Course Content

On this course you will discover:

  • Safety and business-related risk management of temporary works

  • Communications, Co-operation, Co-ordination, and competency

  • An understanding of the code of practice for temporary works procedures (BS 5975)

  • The role of other temporary works processes

  • Other legal duties

 

Final Qualification

After a long day of learning and participation, you will take a multiple-choice test, and once you pass you will be awarded with a CITB renewable 5-year Site Safety Plus certificate as an electronic PDF.

Please note, you must re-apply for this course before your certificate expires.
